In the search for better cleaner, sustainable energy systems to both provide heating and cooling for buildings and dwellings, heat pump units are being promoted as a viable solution. However, the primary heat source is the major factor in the efficiency of the whole heat pump system, and the new HALESHTA unit brings the best primary heat pump energy source -- MOVING WATER - to the growing heat pump market place.

This HTA unit is a heat pump energy source with a COP rating (coefficient of performance) above 6.0. The COP is the amount of useful heat as a ratio to the energy put into the system. This rating can be compared against air source at 2.8, ground source at 4.6 and static water at 5.2

Heat transfer array

Each HTA contains the same 32mm HDPE x 250m of pipe-work as in the standard "Slinky " coils normally buried underground or stretched across lakes etc.It is designed for 50 year lifespan with 5 year replace or repair warranty. 100 % environmentally safe and 100 % recyclable with marine grade stainless steel framing etc, all within a 1.5m cube for 6kW output or 1.0m cube sized for 3kW output.
